Chilies grow in medium sized plants easily in almost every part of the world. Basically it needs a warm, temperate climate. In Peru, chili grows naturally up to 1500 masl. They come in different colors and sizes, and their level of spiciness may vary depending on the variety of the chili.  Besides the easily recognizable spice present in this fruit, theirs is also vitamin C and beta-carotenes, which are ideal for cell development, and preventing the generation of cancer cells.

CANDELA offers three delicious and exotic options to season your favorite dishes: Yellow Peruvian chili (Capsicum baccatum), Panca chili and Limo chili (both belong to the Capsicum chinense variety). The first one is known for being one of the most versatile options to add some spice and flavor. Panca chili, is less spicy but because of the abundance of natural tints, it also a good way to color foods naturally. Finally, Limo chili, is the spiciest of the three options, it is commonly used in Peruvian traditional dishes, specially the famous Cebiche.
