Coffee grows in medium size evergreen shrubs that grow in tropical rainforest ecosystems along the Ecuator, in Central and South America, Africa and Asia, principally. These shrubs that belong to the Rubiaceae family produce berries from which the coffee beans are taken.
Drinking pure, organic coffee in moderation has proven to be one of the best ways to start the day because of the high content in antioxidants and the famous caffeine that it contains, which stimulates the central nervous system and increases blood pressure. Furthermore, coffee beans are also an interesting and always tasty additive to all sorts of sweets. Whether it is with chocolate or milk, coffee never fails to give that final touch flavor in our favorite desserts.
